The Cornerstone Federation
As you are aware, back in June 2016 both The Bay C. E. Primary School and Niton Primary School both formalised their commitment to working together under the umbrella of a Federation. This led to a deeper level of collaboration and enabled both schools to benefit from shared expertise and resources.
The next step in developing a more ‘togetherness’ between the two schools was to think of a Federation name that united us under similar aims and achievements. This is where the exciting and dynamic name Cornerstone Federation came into being, with the motto of ‘Achieving More Together’.
Can I reassure you that this changes nothing of the nature and ethos of either School. Both The Bay and Niton Primary Schools will keep their unique individual identities, as they seek to move forward under the Federation. To view The Cornerstone Federation website, please CLICK HERE.

Cricket
Years 3, 4 and 5 took part in a cricket coaching roadshow here at school. Each class spent time with specialist cricket coach’s developing batting, bowling and fielding skills and played games of diamond cricket.
All the children enjoyed the coaching roadshow and improved their cricketing ability during their session.
The extra practice and coaching will hopefully help the children with the upcoming cricket season.
All parents are welcome to come and support our cricket teams, home and away.
Fixtures to be released after the Easter holidays.

Reception Easter Sing Along.

Reception children wowed their families and friends with a medley of songs at their Easter Sing-a-Long.  The children have been working  very hard and were excited about performing to all the adults. Well done our fantastic Reception children.

Thank you all for you continued support.

Easter Bonnet Parade.

We have had a very ‘eggsciting’ Easter time in school.  Our Easter bonnets and gardens this year were wonderful! Our judges found it very difficult to select winners, as they were all so amazing. Children and adults really enjoyed the Easter Bonnet Parade. What a talented group of parents and children we have!

Thank you to everyone who attended, and a very big thank you to The Mayor of Sandown and his fellow judges. I am really grateful to everyone for your support and, once again, a huge thank you to all!
